Calcium carbonate, commonly known as limestone, stone powder, marble and so on, can be used in construction materials, plastics, paint, putty, plywood, paint, rubber, metallurgy, papermaking and other fields after grinding and processing.
Different fineness of calcium carbonate powder application field is different, according to the different fineness of crushing, industrially divided into four different specifications: single fly, double fly, three fly, four fly, respectively used in various industrial sectors.
Generally according to the type of application machine classification, calcium carbonate processing into coarse powder (0-3mm), fine powder (80-425 mesh), ultrafine powder (400-1250 mesh), micro powder (1250-3250 mesh), etc.
The 400 mesh calcium carbonate mill is between fine powder and ultra-fine powder. It can be processed with general fine mills, such as vertical mill, MTW European mill, Raymond mill, TGM trapezoidal mill and other equipment; Superfine mills can also be used, such as LUM superfine vertical mill and HGM ring roll superfine powder mill, for the processing of superfine calcium powder with more than 400 mesh.
Calcium carbonate grinding process flow:
1. Crushing.
The bulk materials are crushed by the crusher to the feeding fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the pulverizer.
2. Grinding.
The crushed small pieces of materials are sent to the silo by the elevator, and then sent to the grinding room of the mill evenly and quantitatively by the vibrating feeder for grinding. The milled materials are graded by the powder concentrator, and the unqualified powder is graded by the powder concentrator and returned to the main machine for regrinding.
3. Packaging.
The powder conforming to the fineness will flow through the pipeline into the dust collector for separation and collection. The collected finished powder will be sent to the finished product silo by the conveyor through the discharge port, and then packaged by the powder tanker or automatic packer.
