The Gypsum Powder Processing: From Raw Ore to High-Value Industrial Applications

Project Description: This gypsum powder processing project is located in a mining area in southern China, where high-quality gypsum reserves are abundant. The project was initiated in 2024 with a total investment of 4 million US dollars, covering an area of 6,000 square meters. It is equipped with one vertical mill, one jaw crusher, a rotary dryer, and a complete set of classification and collection equipment, with a designed production capacity of 5 tph and the fineness of 300 mesh.

The project employs 15 workers, including 2 technical personnel responsible for equipment operation and process optimization. The project's annual output is 36,000 tons of gypsum powder, with a target market including local gypsum board manufacturers, construction companies, and agricultural cooperatives.

The project is expected to generate annual revenue of 1.8 million US dollars and create jobs for local residents. Environmental protection measures include dust collection equipment, waste heat recovery systems (using the heat from the dryer to reduce energy consumption), and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with national environmental standards.

In conclusion, gypsum powder processing is a vital part of the non-metallic mineral industry, with broad applications and significant economic and social benefits. The 5 tph, 300-mesh gypsum grinding project demonstrates the efficiency and profitability of small to medium-scale gypsum processing, providing a model for similar projects. As the demand for green and energy-efficient building materials continues to grow, the market for gypsum powder will continue to expand.
