Beneficiation equipment of spodumene lepidolite ore.

Mining is one of the most important sources of mineral resources. Mineral processing plants are used to extract different minerals from the earth. There are several different mineral processing plants used for different types of minerals.

A mineral processing plant is a facility that uses chemical and/or physical methods to extract valuable minerals from the earth. A few examples of mineral processes that can be performed using a mineral processing plant are clays, coal, oil, uranium, diamonds, and metals. Mineral processing plants can be large or small, depending on the type of mineral being extracted.

How does spodumene lepidolite ore mining work?

The mining process begins by drilling holes into the ground to determine the thickness and location of the mineral deposit. Next, a tunneling machine (a type of diamond drill) is used to break up the deposit into smaller pieces so it can be removed by truck or bulldozer.
Once mined, the spodumene lepidolite ore must be processed before it can be used to make jewelry or other products. The raw material must first be crushed and screened to remove any rocks larger than 2 inches in diameter. This process produces what's called "tailings." The tailings are then loaded onto trucks or rail cars and taken to a processing plant where they are mixed with water and slaked lime (a neutralizing agent). This mixture is then poured over the spodumene lepidolite ore and allowed to settle. The heavier pieces of ore are then scooped off and discarded, while the lighter materials are filtered and crystallized. This process produces a black powder known as "schist."

The three main types of beneficiation equipment are crusher, slag pile and leaching equipment.
Crushers: Crushers are used to remove large rocks and boulders from the ore before it can be processed in other ways. They consist of two main parts: the impactor hammer and the screen. The impactor hammer is used to break up the rock while the screen removes smaller pieces of rock.
Slag Heaps: Slag heaps are similar to crushers in that they are used to remove large rocks and boulders from the ore before it can be processed in other ways. However, slag heaps also contain impurities such as metal oxides that must be removed before the ore can be processed further.
Leach equipment: Leach plants use water to dissolve away unwanted minerals from the ore until only the desired minerals are left. This process is often used to extract gold, silver, and other precious metals from the earth.
