As an important equipment of mining machinery, crusher is becoming more and more important. As a common crusher, jaw crusher is widely used. However, the high energy consumption of jaw crusher in the crushing process has always been a big problem faced by many users. In response to the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction, measures must be taken to improve and innovate the jaw crusher to reduce energy consumption.

First, improve the crushing chamber. By analyzing the crushing chamber of jaw crusher, we know that curved cavity can reduce material blockage. Stepped structure with high crushing chamber and small engagement angle can increase crushing ratio, avoid equipment wear and reduce lining plate wear.

Secondly, change the suspension mode of the mobile jaw. According to the suspension height difference of the mobile tong, the suspension modes can be divided into positive suspension, zero suspension and negative suspension. The advantage of negative suspension is that the mobile jaw has a lower height, so that we can obtain greater travel of the mobile jaw, smaller eccentricity, lower jaw travel ratio and lower liner consumption.

Then, improve the automatic adjustment function. The electronic regulator can quickly and effectively realize the adjustment and testing work. In this case, the jaw crusher will become more and more sensitive, and the control of particle size series will be correspondingly accurate.

It is later but not less important to improve the overload protection performance. Using electronic overload protection device instead of unreliable bracket can reduce maintenance workload and labor intensity, and is suitable for various types of jaw crusher.
