Analysis of flue gas desulfurization method:
Internationally, the developed industry has strict standards for the emission of sulfur dioxide, and flue gas desulfurization devices are generally installed in coal-fired plants. Limestone / lime method is adopted for most desulfurization. Flue gas desulfurization treatment is divided into dry method and wet method. At present, the widely used desulfurization method is wet desulfurization. The commonly used wet desulfurization methods can be divided into limestone / lime method, sodium alkali method, double alkali method, magnesium oxide method, ammonia method, etc. according to the different absorbents they choose.
1. Limestone / lime method.
Limestone method in flue gas desulfurization process mainly adopts limestone powder with fineness of 200-300 mesh mixed with water to make limestone slurry, which is then transported to the absorption tower, and then contacted with flue gas through spray atomization device to absorb flue gas, so as to achieve the purpose of desulfurization. Lime method uses lime powder to replace limestone. The activity of lime powder is much higher than that of limestone, which can improve the desulfurization efficiency.
2. Sodium alkali method.
Sodium alkali method uses alkaline substances such as sodium carbonate or sodium hydroxide to absorb SO2 in flue gas, and can produce high concentration SO2 gas or Na2SO3 by-product. It has the advantages of nonvolatile absorbent, high solubility, high activity and no blockage of absorption system. It is suitable for S02 absorption treatment of flue gas with high SO2 concentration.
3. Double alkali method.
Double alkali method [Na2CO3/Ca(0H)2] is based on lime method and combined with sodium alkali method. Sodium salt is easily soluble in water, and sodium alkali is used to absorb SO2 inside the absorption tower. The absorbed desulfurization liquid is regenerated with cheap lime in the regeneration tank, so that sodium ions can be recycled for absorption and utilization. It mainly solves the problem that lime method is easy to scale in the tower, and has the advantage of high absorption efficiency of sodium alkali method.
4. Magnesium oxide method.
Magnesium oxide method adopts the reaction of magnesium oxide and SO2 to obtain magnesium sulfite and magnesium sulfate. They can re decompose magnesium oxide through calcination, and recover relatively pure SO2 gas at the same time. The desulfurizer can be recycled. Since the activity of magnesium oxide is higher than that of lime water, the desulfurization efficiency is also higher than that of lime method.
5. Ammonia process.
Ammonia method uses ammonia as the absorbent of SO2. The reaction between SO2 and NH3 can produce ammonia sulfite, ammonia bisulfite and ammonia sulfate partially produced by oxidation. According to the different regeneration methods of absorption solution, ammonia method can be divided into ammonia acid method, Ammonia Sulfite ammonia method and ammonia sulfate ammonia method. The main advantage of ammonia method is high desulfurization efficiency (similar to sodium alkali method), and the by-product can be used as agricultural fertilizer. The recovery process of ammonia method is also relatively difficult, and the cost of investment is high. It needs to be equipped with acid making system or crystallization recovery device, such as neutralizer, crystallizer, dehydrator, dryer, etc. the system is complex, there are many equipment, and the management and maintenance requirements are high.
