Studies have shown that with the increase in the amount of slag ultrafine powder, the water consumption of concrete when it reaches the same fluidity becomes less; and the concrete using slag ultrafine powder has basically the same elastic modulus and drying shrinkage as the concrete using pure cement.Freeze-thaw resistance, impermeability, acid resistance, sulfate resistance, heat resistance and salt shielding are all superior to concrete using pure cement.
At present, the main equipment for slag grinding includes ball mill, vibrating mill, roller press and vertical mill. These equipment can generally grind the slag to a specific surface area of 400~550m2/kg, belonging to the high-fine grinding of slag.
