Carbon Black and Calcium Carbonate Co-Processing Project-first step

Carbon black and calcium carbonate, when co-processed, create a versatile powder with applications in rubber, plastics, and coatings. This project features a production capacity of 5 tph and an output fineness of 300 mesh, designed to meet the demanding requirements of these industries.

In the rubber industry, the carbon black-calcium carbonate blend is used as a reinforcing filler in tires and other rubber products. Carbon black provides the necessary strength and wear resistance, while calcium carbonate acts as a cost-effective extender, reducing the amount of expensive carbon black needed. The 300-mesh fineness ensures good dispersion in the rubber matrix, enhancing the overall performance of the final product.

The plastics industry utilizes this blend as a filler and additive in various plastic formulations. Carbon black imparts conductivity and UV resistance to plastics, while calcium carbonate improves rigidity and dimensional stability.
